Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key flavor accounts, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of key flavor accounts, including existing and new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including key decision-makers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Creation, and Marketing
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and manage order patterns to optimize customer and IFF performance
  • Responsible for quotes and pricing negotiations, ensuring minimum sales prices are achieved
  • Accountable for all communications with customers and ensure timely delivery of orders and related documents
  • Cooperate with Operations to manage order-related customer inquiries and complaints

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, Business Administration, or food technology
  • 3-5 years of experience in Business-to-Business Sales Management, preferably in the food ingredients/flavors industry
  • Relevant work experience in flavors and food markets
  • Strategic thinking, strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, with additional languages an advantage
  • Good listener, open personality, and flexible approach
  • Ability to create strong relationships with customers
  • Well-organized and excellent computer skills (MS Office)
