Job Title: Cost Price Analysis and Value Engineering Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Cost Price Analysis and Value Engineering Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and contribute to the development of our cost analysis and value engineering capabilities.

About the Role:

As a Cost Price Analysis and Value Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting cost price analysis and value engineering studies to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Developing and maintaining cost models and databases to support cost analysis and value engineering efforts
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Providing analytical support to senior engineers and management to inform business decisions
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering, with a focus on cost analysis and value engineering
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with cost analysis and value engineering software

  • A monthly stipend of €500-€700 gross, depending on educational level and relocation requirements
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocation to the Netherlands
