Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our team at the Advanced Research Center for Nanolithography (ARCNL). As a key member of our Contact Dynamics group, you will be responsible for conducting research in tribological materials and their applications in nanolithography.

The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in physics or a related field and a strong background in experimental techniques, such as atomic force microscopy and friction testing. Experience with data analysis and programming languages like Python or MATLAB is also essential.

This full-time position is available for two years, with a salary in scale 10 (CAO-OI) and a range of employment benefits. ARCNL assists new foreign researchers with housing and visa applications, as well as compensates transport costs and furnishing expenses.

As a Research Scientist at ARCNL, you will work closely with our team of experts in contact dynamics and tribology. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting experiments on tribological materials using advanced techniques
  • Analyzing data and interpreting results
  • Developing and maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals
