The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Production to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of shipbuilding projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and execute all production activities for shipbuilding projects
- Manage a team of supervisors and ensure they have the necessary qualifications and capacity
- Oversee the actual construction, delegate work activities, and coordinate supervisors and subcontractors
- Control activities through registration, analysis, verification, evaluation, and corrective measures
- Advise on additional work and variations on planned building processes
- 3+ years of experience leading a production team over a complex project
- Solid experience working on the production of complex naval shipbuilding or offshore solutions
- Bachelor or Master degree in Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, or another technical study
- Good command of English and Dutch language (written & verbal)
- Available for significant business travel and/or working abroad for a long duration
- Excellent references and antecedents, with a pre-employment security screening as part of the recruitment procedure
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport required
- Competitive salary and 8% holiday pay
- 27 holidays and 13 ADV days
- Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre
- PME-pension arrangement with an employer contribution of 60%
- Profit sharing based on company results
- Working from home policy and other benefits
