We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Agile Development Team as the principal tester in one or more domains. In this role, you will play a critical part in the dynamic transformation we are currently experiencing at Nederlandse Loterij.

That's why data is integrated into all teams within Nederlandse Loterij. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will directly contribute to a happy, healthy and sporty Netherlands by ensuring that existing and new information systems are thoroughly tested for desired functionalities.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • reviewing and interpreting specifications in refinement sessions
  • defining logical and physical test cases based on prepared specifications
  • planning and organizing test activities together with business analysts, developers, business representatives, and suppliers
  • drafting test scripts for manual and automated tests and building, expanding, and continuously adjusting automated test sets
  • analyzing, reporting, and following up on findings and issues and explaining results to suppliers/developers

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • a Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field, such as computer science or information technology
  • TMAP/ISTQB certification
  • at least 3 to 6 years of experience as a Tester (experience with functional testing is a must)
  • experience working with the following tools: JIRA/Confluence, API tools, Robot Framework, and GitHub/Jenkins/Azure DevOps. Experience with Ci/Cd is beneficial
  • experience working in a complex Service Oriented Architecture environment
  • proven knowledge of and experience in automated testing of back-end systems (API testing)

We are looking for a team player who actively collaborates with different peers, teams, and stakeholders, such as Product Owners and Architects. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary between €4,200,- and €5,900,- gross per month, depending on experience, and a bonus scheme. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can grow professionally and personally.

Our office in Rijswijk is where you will work effectively, but you can also work in a location that suits your needs. We offer a healthy and varied lunch in our corporate restaurant for €3.25.
