About Our Company:

HighTechXL is a Deep-Tech venture that has been spun off from TNO. We are a collaborative effort with HighTechXL, and our primary focus is on developing printing equipment using laser-based technology that has been researched at Holst Centre for over a decade.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on and innovative Mechatronics Engineer to contribute to the development and optimization of our revolutionary printing equipment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in integrating mechanical, electronic, and control systems to ensure the seamless operation of our LIFT technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement mechatronic systems for printing equipment, ensuring precision and reliability in the printing process.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Mechanical Engineers, Software Engineers, and Researchers, to achieve seamless integration of mechatronic components.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of control systems, ensuring precision and reliability in the printing process.
  • Lead the integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to create a cohesive and efficient printing equipment system.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of mechatronic systems, ensuring they meet quality and performance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in mechatronic systems and implement enhancements to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, assembly instructions, and technical reports.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.


Proven experience in mechatronic system design and integration, preferably in the printing or precision equipment industry.


Hands-on mentality with the ability to prototype and troubleshoot effectively.


Proficiency in control system design and implementation.


Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.


Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.


Highly valued additional qualifications include:


Familiarity with laser-based technologies.


Experience with automation and robotics.


Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.


Familiarity with CAD software for system design.
