In this exciting role as Sustainability Specialist, you will play a crucial part in shaping our company's commitment to environmental responsibility and social accountability. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing sustainable practices across various projects, ensuring seamless integration with our existing operations.
The key areas of responsibility for this position include:
- Implementing Project HSE & Sustainability plans according to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations;
- Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and developing mitigation strategies;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain HSE documentation, including procedures, checklists, and training programs;
- Managing and coordinating HSE-related activities, including site visits, audits, and inspections;
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project execution;
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the field of sustainability and HSE.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of HSE principles, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication abilities. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Business Administration, or Engineering, would be beneficial. Relevant certifications, like ISO 14001 or OSHA 30, would also be advantageous.
