Job Title: Associate Analyst

At the International Criminal Court (ICC), we are seeking a highly skilled Associate Analyst to join our team. As an Associate Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Country Analysis Unit in its mission to provide timely and accurate analysis of political and security-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct targeted research and information collection on situation countries and other countries of interest to the Court.
  • Gather, select, catalogue, and analyze information from various sources, including computerized databases, the press, and international organizations.
  • Draft timely, credible, and integrated analysis reports and other information products on political and security-related issues.
  • Assist in providing strategic advice and solutions to the Unit Heads, Section Chiefs, and Registry Senior Management.
  • Contribute to monitoring and identifying information related to suspects at large.
  • Alert relevant stakeholders to events, risks, trends, and developments that may affect the achievement of Registry objectives.

Requirements:

  • Advanced university degree in International Relations, Crisis Management, Political Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of progressively responsible relevant experience in political affairs, security, or military affairs, international relations, or a related area.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify information collection plans and apply structured processing of information and reasoned analysis.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills, with the ability to present information effectively and listen actively.
  • Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, English or French, is required. Working knowledge of the other language is desirable.
