Role Overview
As an Appian Developer, your primary responsibility will be to construct a cutting-edge financial platform that offers diverse solutions to enrich our customers' lives. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring our technological capabilities remain at the forefront, and our execution is impeccable.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge in design, analysis, development, testing, integration, and architecture to elevate team performance while surpassing industry benchmarks for quality and security.
- Collaborate daily with your colleagues to develop our financial platform and influence the strategic direction of the department.
The IT Team
Knab's IT department comprises passionate individuals committed to building and maintaining the bank and its associated products. Our success has driven us to increasingly develop our own solutions, moving away from third-party IT services to accelerate and innovate in the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
As an Appian Developer, you will play a crucial role in establishing the Appian environment. You will be a natural problem solver and a collaborative team player, dedicated to supporting Agile teams in achieving optimal results consistently.
Your ability to inspire and guide teams in delivering solutions that adhere to Appian's best practices for application design—ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficiency—will be essential.
You will also be responsible for sharing knowledge by defining guidelines and best practices, as well as developing and maintaining Appian tools (such as CI/CD and automated user provisioning) to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for other teams adopting Appian.
Your Qualifications
- Proven experience in Appian development and design.
- Comprehensive understanding of building process applications within the Appian environment, including application design, data types, process models, forms, reports, records, and news feeds.
- 3-5 years of experience in business process management.
- Familiarity with current Cloud technologies or the ability to quickly acquire expertise in this area.
- Strong consultancy skills at various organizational levels.
- Appian certification and significant project leadership experience, including leading architecture and design meetings, engaging with stakeholders, and guiding refinement sessions and sprint demonstrations.
