Background InformationThe Optical Column (OC) is the heart of our EUV lithography systems, responsible for collecting and projecting EUV light onto the wafer. Our EUV Projection Group is responsible for the design, integration, and qualification of the optical performance in the projection modules. We are looking for a talented intern to assist us in developing advanced metrology techniques to determine failure mechanisms in our mirrors.
Your AssignmentThe successful candidate will work on the development of mirror metrology that can determine failure mechanisms from sensor measurements. This will involve simulating sensor measurements, developing failure mode detection algorithms, and applying these algorithms to machine data. The candidate will also have the opportunity to discuss results with our Optics Lifetime team.
Your ProfileTo be a match for this internship, you should have a Master's degree in Physics or Optics, be skilled in tooling like Python and/or MATLAB, have analytical thinking and be motivated to learn, and have good communication skills in English.
