About the Role

CRH is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Governance Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing cloud governance practices and toolchains to drive business value and achieve our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and evolve modern architecture principles to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop a baseline monitoring and tooling concept for cloud to address compliance infrastructure reporting within agile deliveries.
  • Develop a roadmap and implement a Unified Observability that's cloud-first, enabling real-time visibility and insights into our cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop concepts and tools for chargeback and showback (Financial Instrumentation) in a multicloud context, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Develop best practices for cost reduction and drive local cost ownership, optimizing our cloud spend and improving ROI.
  • Implement and mature a cloud forecasting and capacity management solution for the enterprise, ensuring optimal resource utilization and minimizing waste.
  • Evolve our cloud-native tools to accommodate the need of our strategic technology programs, driving innovation and agility.
  • Ensure support for commercial and legal requirements within our cloud estate, maintaining compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Ensure 'Secure By Design' practices are widely adopted, protecting our organization's assets and data.
  • Be a cloud evangelist to help others realize the value of modern cloud capabilities, driving adoption and best practices.
  • Support new ways of work like Agile Development, DevOps practices, and hackathons, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Cross-vertical support and alignment on solution architecture, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.

  • Cloud Azure and AWS Fundamental Certified is a must. Expert Certifications is a plus.

  • Analytical & driving results: assist in developing and deploying key governance, processes & procedures.

Experience / Education
  • +10 years of experience.
  • Experienced Cloud Architect, coming either from Large Enterprise or small startup. Certified in Azure.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT related discipline.
  • Working in cross-functional teams on a European or Global level.
