Job Overview

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will assist one of the Project Managers with the delivery of projects, ensuring efficient and effective execution of the agreed work in the field of offshore geophysical and geotechnical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage internal projects and assist with the monitoring of project budgets, schedules, and performance against KPIs.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate to achieve optimal balance between cost, time, quality, benefit, and risk in marine geotechnical and geophysical projects.
  • Supervise/guide project teams, promote a Team Fugro culture, and support the development of a positive safety culture.
  • Develop project documentation, including project execution plans and setup project management controls.
  • Communicate with clients, internal partners, subcontractors, and support the tendering process.
  • Participate in the development of specialist and project management skills through external and internal courses.

Requirements

  • A Master or Bachelor degree in an industry-associated discipline and experience in project management, preferably in marine geotechnical or geophysical related projects.
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous working experience.
  • Excellent planning skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proactive and determined to efficiently deliver results on our projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team.
  • A good knowledge of the English language (verbal and written).
