Job Title: Legal & Compliance Officer - Banking Region Amsterdam

We are seeking a seasoned Legal & Compliance Officer to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our banking operations are in compliance with Dutch legislation and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of our Annual Compliance Plan, ensuring regular monitoring, testing, and reporting.
  • Provide expert legal advice on changes in the regulatory environment and supervisory expectations, ensuring our organization remains compliant and up-to-date.
  • Offer guidance on various compliance topics, including Financial Economic Crime, Market Abuse, and Code of Conduct, to ensure a culture of integrity and risk awareness throughout the organization.
  • Perform regular maintenance of our Systematic Integrity Risk Analysis and compliance framework, ensuring our operations remain compliant and efficient.
  • Provide training and second-line defense guidance on various compliance matters, empowering our team to make informed decisions.
  • Conduct periodic compliance monitoring and reporting, ensuring our organization remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain our regulatory function, ensuring we stay informed and up-to-date on regulatory developments and supervisory expectations.
  • Support our organization in responding to requests from DNB and our parent company, ensuring seamless communication and compliance.
  • Contribute to the realization of our business plan by sharing your knowledge, experience, and insights, ensuring our operations remain sound and controlled.
