About the Role



For our ambitious and fast-growing Logistics Analytics team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a skilled Logistics People Analytics Intern to join us for 5-6 months from January 2025. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing detailed insights into our logistics operations, supply chain flow, and business performance to enable data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities




  • Translate logistics team's topics and questions into meaningful analytics
  • Help to create ad-hoc business performance insights, visualize and disclose data, and gather relevant logistics and people-related insights
  • Use various querying/programming languages (SQL, Python) and data visualization tools (Tableau) to access and manipulate the data needed


Requirements




  • Currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a relevant HBO/WO program (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar quantitative discipline)
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Comfortable working with data, with experience or understanding of SQL
  • Ability to analyze and visualize data using Excel/Gsheet or Tableau
  • Some working knowledge of Python is nice but not required
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
