About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect to join our team at Damen Naval, where you will play a key role in designing and developing advanced naval vessels.

Job Summary

As an IT Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT solutions in various projects. You will work closely with our IT engineers to develop standard solutions, create designs, and guide project teams to make the right technological decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new and current IT solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Create reusable building blocks and low-level designs that can be applied across multiple projects.
  • Guide project teams in making informed technological decisions that align with our company's strategy and architecture vision.
  • Work closely with the Cyber Security team and security architects to ensure that our technical solutions are secure and compliant.
Requirements

To excel as an IT Solutions Architect, you should possess:

  • At least 5 years' experience working on IT Architecture, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Solid experience in translating requirements into technical tooling and solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience dealing with compliance and risk topics is considered a plus.
  • A strong understanding of architecture tools and modeling techniques.
What We Offer

At Damen Naval, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • An estimated salary of €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • 8% holiday pay.
  • 27 holidays and 13 ADV days.
  • Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre.
  • PME-pension arrangement with an employer contribution of 60%.
  • Profit sharing based on company results.
