ServiceNow Developer/Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall health of our ServiceNow environment. This includes monitoring and supporting our architecture, overseeing license usage, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Additionally, you will contribute to design discussions and decisions to ensure we are creating the best solutions for our business needs. You will develop scalable solutions in ServiceNow, using standard methodologies and patterns to address prioritized IT and business needs.

Proactive monitoring of supported business processes and functionality is also a key aspect of this role, with a focus on continual process improvement in accordance with ITIL best practices. You will actively participate in training the team on new functionality to reduce siloed expertise and increase cross-functionality.

As a mentor and guide, you will help ensure compliance with standards and design practices, and advise the business on maximizing the value of ServiceNow for our organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/HBO level education, preferably in Computer Science
  • 1+ years of ServiceNow System Administration/Development experience
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator (Implementation Specialist Certification a plus)
  • Experience with ITSM processes and implementing ServiceNow processes and functions
  • Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience with and developing with web technologies (XML, HTML, Angular JS, Web Services, JavaScript etc.)
  • Experience in one or more of the following: REST API integrations, custom application development, Workflows, Flows
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
