Global Marketing Strategist

At Nouryon, we are seeking a highly skilled Global Strategic Marketing Manager to lead our Institutional and Industrial Cleaning market efforts. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a compelling global strategic marketing plan, ensuring regional marketing plans align with the global strategy, and driving innovation through a robust project portfolio.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Institutional and Industrial Cleaning market, with 5-10 years of relevant experience in marketing and sales. They will be fluent in English and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across global cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global strategic marketing plan for the Institutional and Industrial Cleaning market
  • Ensure regional marketing plans align with the global strategy and are clear and actionable
  • Develop and maintain a robust innovation project portfolio, working with R&D to prioritize and select new projects
  • Support innovation efforts by providing and updating business cases and launch plans for projects in the portfolio
  • Monitor competitive, customer, and market developments, adjusting strategic initiatives accordingly
  • Lead a global cross-functional team to share regional market insights, leverage successes, and ensure overall alignment
  • Interact and build relationships with participants across the value chain to understand issues and identify opportunities
  • Serve as an informal global ambassador of Nouryon's values, behaviors, and company brand
  • Partner and liaise with relevant industry consortiums
  • Support ongoing mergers and acquisitions activities
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Develop value propositions and go-to-market strategies for new and existing applications
  • Develop and refine business cases for innovation projects, including concept statement development, addressable market definition, and economic modeling
  • Develop thorough launch packages for new products, including promotional materials, sample availability, and price guidelines
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences, serving as a company representative for select interviews and presentations
  • Provide input to marketing communications on promotional tools and activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing (MBA candidates encouraged to apply)
  • 5-10 years of relevant segment/marketing experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the Institutional and Industrial Cleaning market (preferred)
  • Experience in sales (preferred)
  • Fluency in English (required), with skills in other relevant languages a plus
  • Experience in the chemicals industry
  • Comfortable working across global cultures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with listening, writing, verbal, influencing, entrepreneurship, result-oriented, negotiation, problem-solving, and business acumen
  • Project management capabilities and skills
