Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct chemical risk assessments and provide recommendations for better chemical raw material choices.
  • Act as a point of contact for regulatory compliance-related requests and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant chemicals regulations, including EU and UK REACH, Chemical Strategy for Sustainability, POPs, and PFAS.
  • Evaluate the impact of expected developments in relevant legislation and regulations on product compliance and provide recommendations for managing pending changes.
  • Provide input for the design and implementation of product compliance strategies, policies, programs, and systems.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including technical sales, marketing, R&D, legal, operations, EHS, customers, end-users, health institutions, certified test institutes, legal firms, and government agencies.

Requirements

  • Strong scientific background and education in a relevant discipline, such as chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, pharmacy, or food science.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within an international, fast-paced industrial environment, with global regulatory knowledge a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Engineering knowledge and technical acumen, with the ability to understand technical specifications and communicate implications to non-technical people.
