Avery Dennison Smartrac is a global leader in the development and production of inlays, tags, and labels for the Internet of Things (IoT). We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Compliance Intern to join our team.

About the Role

As a Product Compliance Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our Product Stewardship department in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily support to customers on compliance-related matters
  • Assisting in the creation of compliance reports, including Food Contact Statements and General Compliance Statements
  • Optimizing IT tools and data management practices within the compliance team
  • Updating existing scripts to expand their functionality and redundancy, as well as developing new tools

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages, with Google Apps Script being a plus
  • Good knowledge of chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, pharmacy, or food science
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Avery Dennison Smartrac offers a competitive compensation package, including a monthly stipend of 550 euros, commuting allowance, and access to a mentoring program and specific training offerings. Only applications in English will be considered. Applicants must be enrolled at a Dutch university for the whole duration of the internship.
