About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Data Platform Engineer to join our Data Platform team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining data-related open-source tools, developing and deploying in-house data solutions, and maintaining and developing infrastructure related to data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deployment and maintenance of data-related open-source tools (Airflow, DataHub)
  • Development, deployment, and maintenance of in-house data solutions written in Python
  • Maintaining and developing infrastructure related to data (cloud storage solutions, data access policies)
  • Direct monitoring and maintenance of several data-related services

Requirements

  • Experience with managing and maintaining corporate-level cloud platform environments
  • Experience in the management of cloud storage solutions (Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake)
  • High-quality software development mindset
  • Programming/scripting languages (Python, SQL, dbt, Terraform)
  • Software (Airflow, Databricks, Spark) is a plus
  • Knowledge and interest in Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Helm knowledge is a plus
  • The salary range is approximately €3,400 to €4,500 per month
