Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic

The Role
We are seeking a skilled Functional Application Specialist to support our engineering functionalities in our Computer Aided Design platform, Cadmatic. As a key member of our team, you will drive efficiency and effectiveness across our engineering processes, making a tangible impact on our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate engineering business needs into functional specifications for application developments.
- Analyze issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devise solutions.
- Develop and implement application processes and functionalities.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.
- Manage interfaces between applications and Cadmatic.
- Maintain user access rights administration within the application.
- Setup and configure project environments within Cadmatic.
- Organize application-related training courses in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support.
- Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Cadmatic.
- Prepare and develop CADMATIC training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency with Cadmatic platform, ideally also affinity with CATIA and the 3DExperience platform (Dassault Systemes).
- Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management.
- Excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous.
- Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam locations, in The Netherlands.
- Excellent references and antecedents, as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
