About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Application Specialist to support our engineering functionalities in our Computer Aided Design platform, with a special focus on Cadmatic, across the product lifecycle process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate engineering business needs into functional specifications for application developments
  • Analyse issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devise solutions
  • Develop and implement application processes and functionalities
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners
  • Manage interfaces between applications and Cadmatic
  • Maintain user access rights administration within the application
  • Setup and configure project environments within Cadmatic
  • Organize application-related training courses in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support
  • Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Cadmatic
  • Prepare and develop CADMATIC training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering
  • Proficiency with Cadmatic platform, ideally also affinity with CATIA and the 3DExperience platform (Dassault Systemes)
  • Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management
  • Excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous
  • Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam locations, in The Netherlands
  • Excellent references and antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required and candidates with NL/EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects
