Key Account Manager - Aerospace Global Account Program

Are you a seasoned account manager with a passion for the Aerospace industry? Do you have excellent communication skills and a proven track record in building strong relationships with customers? We're looking for a talented Key Account Manager to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel.

Your Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts in the Aerospace industry. Your primary objective will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and identifying opportunities to grow our business together.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts in the Aerospace industry, identifying customer needs and developing strategies to meet those needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business models and decision-making processes.
  • Negotiate rates and service contracts with customers, ensuring alignment with our business units and functional units.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring timely and accurate updates to our CRM system.
  • Develop and implement account plans, working closely with our sales managers to ensure alignment with our business objectives.
  • Effectively hand over and transition new business into operations, ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular review sessions with customers, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Proven experience in account management, preferably in the logistics industry or a relevant vertical sector.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive key account initiatives across geographies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Aerospace industry, with a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strategic and growth mindset, with a passion for developing effective, long-term solutions for our customers.
  • Ability to communicate credibly and effectively at all levels, including with senior stakeholders.
