ORTEC is a global leader in optimizing business processes and enriching data, enabling our clients to be more efficient, profitable, and competitive. We are seeking a skilled Cloud Application Engineer to join our Systems & Applications team in the IT department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, expanding, and improving our Microsoft-based application landscape. This includes participating in various projects, with key tasks involving project preparation, execution, and management.

As a Cloud Application Engineer, you will work closely with your team to perform functional and technical maintenance tasks, develop, test, accept, and implement changes, and resolve third-party requests. Your analytical skills and experience will make you a valuable partner for the business, helping to anticipate how current applications should evolve and how new technologies can be integrated to benefit ORTEC.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our Microsoft 365 environment, with a focus on Office 365 configuration, including SharePoint, MS Teams, VoiP, and OneDrive.
  • Implement and configure Single Sign-on, MultiFactor Authentication, and InTune.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop, test, and implement changes to our application landscape.
  • Resolve third-party requests and provide technical support to the business.
  • Participate in project planning, execution, and management.
Requirements
  • HBO work and thinking level, obtained through an HBO education in IT/Informatics or acquired through experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (both written and verbal).
  • Analytical skills with the ability to translate analysis into solutions.
  • Experience with project management and a high-quality delivery mindset.
  • Open to new ideas, understanding of different perspectives, and able to communicate effectively with the business.
