Job Description

As a Senior Corporate Officer at IQ-EQ, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our corporate services. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and review all administrative and legal formalities, responding to client queries and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of client files.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and review all administrative and legal formalities, including account opening, mergers, acquisitions, and incorporation of companies.
  • Convene and chair board and shareholders meetings, reviewing related minutes and documentation.
  • Signal any legal, tax, or accounting issues related to client transactions and liaise with clients and advisors.
  • Assist with the closing of transactions, including the review and negotiation of transaction documents and coordination of the approval process.
  • Maintain regular contacts with clients, banks, and other external parties.
  • Coordinate and execute day-to-day administrative and legal formalities of a dedicated client portfolio, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft and assess agreements to document transactions.
  • Align the best interests of the client with those of the company and all stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of client files in cooperation with the Accounting Officer and Corporate Manager.
  • Report to regulatory bodies and follow up on ongoing client business and possibilities for organic growth.
  • Share market developments within the company and externally with clients and advisors.
  • Follow legal, tax, and accounting developments and translate them into practice with client portfolios.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, colleagues, and advisors.
  • Coach and train junior staff.
  • Monitor files, address errors, and risks proactively.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in corporate, company, or fiscal law.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position, with exposure to multinational investment structures.
  • Theoretical knowledge of project management applied to client services.
  • Comfortable giving presentations and addressing project-related subjects at internal and external meetings.
  • Basic knowledge of debtor management and understanding of client fee structures.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
  • Experience with drafting and drawing up legal agreements, handling client acceptance procedures, mergers and acquisitions, and understanding of international tax concepts.
  • Knowledge of the company's organization, services, and general functioning.
