Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Intern to join our team at BOAS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our store on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam.

Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, helping customers find their perfect vintage clothing, and assisting with the organization and replenishment of the store.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the store on the Prinsengracht, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers
  • Help customers find their ideal vintage clothing, providing personalized recommendations and styling advice
  • Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and maintaining store displays
  • Advocate for BOAS and our mission to save jeans and lives, promoting our brand values and initiatives
  • Share observations and feedback with the marketing and operations team to improve services
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Goal-oriented and motivated, with a passion for sustainability and environmental causes
  • Organizational talent, with experience in inventory management and retail operations
  • IT affinity, with confident use of Microsoft Office and other relevant tools
  • Friendly behavior, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work at least 3 weekend days per month, with flexibility to cover shifts and adapt to changing store needs
