Job Title: Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at DSM. As a Research Scientist, you will be responsible for the development and testing of new materials concepts. Your primary focus will be on the execution of prototyping and testing of new materials, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the testing and development of products, processes, and technologies based on project needs for commercialization;
- Assist in projects delivered on time and within project budget;
- Support multi-functional project teams;
- Interact with various internal disciplines;
- Act as the interface between operations, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, application development, and technical service.

Requirements:

- Experience in lab activities, including formulation, analytical characterization, and testing;
- Related HBO degree or MBO degree with experience in science, technology, or equivalent;
- Affinity to materials science and/or chemistry is considered a strong plus;
- Highly developed skills working in a multi-disciplinary environment, ideally in highly quality systems governed fields (medical);
- Strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and knowledge of quality system requirements in the medical device, combination products, or pharmaceutical industry (e.g., ISO13485, cGMP);
