Job Summary

CHC Helicopter is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contract Manager to join our Airbus and Leonardo Category team. This is a high-profile position that reports directly to the Senior Contract Manager and is responsible for managing contracts and relations to reduce costs and improve turnaround times for our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct spend analytics to support Senior Category Manager
  • Analyze and manipulate multiple data streams to support sourcing strategy development
  • Design and roll out RFXs, including event setup, supplier engagement activities, and bid analysis
  • Support implementation of new contracts, including price book development and setup
  • Lead negotiation and execution of contracts, managing relationships and performance targets
  • Escalate critical orders to support aircraft return to service requirements
  • Track cost-saving initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects depending on company initiatives
  • Motivate and inspire team members by creating an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Undergraduate degree required; Supply Chain or Business focus preferred, Engineering desirable
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience within a global environment, i.e., logistics supply chain, accounting, economics, financial analysis
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Engines
  • Computer Savvy (Data handling, Analysis, Microsoft)
  • English Skill – Business Advanced (Communication, email)
  • High communication/Negotiation/Collaboration skills with internal/external stakeholders
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and leadership
  • Project management skills
  • Strong Business English, French, and/or Italian is a plus
