About the Role

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team Member will play a key role in supporting the site's general accounting processes, inventory management, and VAT reporting. This position will assist the Finance Manager in implementing new accounting policies, processes, reporting, and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely billing and collection processes.
  • Oversee fixed assets management and reporting, as well as account reconciliations.
  • Support the month-end close process, completing analysis, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Prepare forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, and general business conditions.
  • Assist departments in formulating budgets, reviewing actual expenses versus budget, and issuing monthly variance statements.
  • Prepare and analyze month-end and variance reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Accounting experience or certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or other accounting packages is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
  • Fluent language skills in German and English, with any other European language being advantageous (French, Polish).
