Make a Positive Difference at Kraton

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A Finance team at our Almere location. As a key member of our team, you will provide financial support to our finance director, ensuring best-in-class financial processes and financial reporting to key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in the preparation of monthly forecasts, quarterly board decks, and annual budgets.
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of the company's performance against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results via statements, tables, or visual graphs.
  • Assist our finance director in the management of our corporate financial forecasting model.
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly Board of Director presentations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual public filings.
  • Perform ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested.

Required Skills

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting required.
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and practices.
  • Excellent analytics, detail-oriented, and ability to challenge by seeing the broader picture.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • SAP experience (FI/COPA/BI) preferred.
  • Experience with BPC a plus.
  • Strong financial analysis experience and cost accounting experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly automated environment and pull data and translate it into meaningful steering information for internal clients.
  • Effective communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation with an emphasis in the English language.
  • Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a matrix work environment and team structure across geographic boundaries.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA a plus.
  • Chemical industry, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing experience required.
