MRO & Equipment Sourcing Expertise

Fugro is embarking on an exciting growth journey, establishing a new Procurement & Supply Chain Management (P&SCM) organization. As an MRO & Equipment Sourcing Specialist, you will oversee the contracting, supplier management, and tendering of MRO and equipment suppliers in the EU/AF region, aligned with our Global strategy.

You will collaborate with a driven and engaged team of Procurement and Supply Chain Managers worldwide. Your primary focus will be driving the regional strategy, setting priorities to control spend and manage it through framework agreements that can be utilized by the business, emphasizing total cost of ownership.

This role involves occasional travel within the EU/AF region to meet suppliers and stakeholders.

1. Stay up-to-date on current MRO and equipment markets and trends to develop negotiation strategies accordingly.
2. Execute the sourcing strategy according to established processes, understanding cost structures and total cost of ownership.
3. Evaluate cost and risk optimization opportunities, plan, prioritize, and execute them effectively.
4. Ensure seamless coordination with the business during contract negotiations and make details available to relevant parties.
5. Analyze and understand spend data to explore negotiation leverage and economies of scale.
6. Be part of the key focal group driving P&L value by negotiating key contracts with suppliers in the region.
7. Conduct spend analysis and identify key stakeholders, ensuring adherence to current procedures and driving process improvements.

1. A BSc degree in a related field.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience as a Purchaser, Contracting Manager, Category Manager, or similar procurement or Supply Chain function.
3. Ideal prior experience and commercial knowledge in the MRO/Equipment industry, with familiarity handling and negotiating framework agreements.
4. Commercial insight, able to think from both customer and sales perspectives, negotiate preferred terms with suppliers, and balance customer requirements against sourcing capacities and capabilities.
5. Excellent English and Dutch language skills, written and oral.

• A competitive salary: €60,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
