Expert Software Architect for Large Scale Digital Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Agile Architect to lead our team in designing large-scale digital solutions. This is a collaborative process that requires ongoing communication, coordination, and cooperation across multiple teams.

The Agile Architect will work on varied topics daily, including some that may be vague. To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of typical Renewi business processes and up-to-date knowledge of multiple relevant technologies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Formulate and communicate architectural intent and high-level end-to-end solution design for business needs.
  • Guide specialist roles in co-creating more detailed (emergent) solution design when needed.
  • Define architecture standards, patterns, principles, and guidelines by the teams.
  • Ensure security by design practices are followed, leading to secure IT solutions.
  • Validate technology assumptions and solution design in practice, during and after implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in solution design and Agile Architecture practices.
  • Define and guide 'enabler work' (e.g., epics and features) to implementation.
  • Work with functional roles to define compliance requirements and non-functional requirements for business needs.
  • Plan, refine, coordinate, and prioritize work on program or feature level with a focus on the architecture perspective.
  • Proactively identify and respond to technology-enabled business opportunities.
  • Ideate practical, technical possibilities representing value to the business.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between €5,200 and €7,400 per month, based on your knowledge and experience.

Your Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or Information Management, or comparable work experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant IT architecture experience or comparable skills, with the ability to acquire missing IT architecture competencies quickly.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of multiple technologies used in the IT landscape of Renewi or comparable technologies, with the ability to acquire missing relevant technology knowledge quickly.

Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards and location, we estimate the salary range for this position to be around €60,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on your experience.
