About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our team at Sioux Technologies. If you have a passion for developing software for advanced high-tech systems and enjoy working independently, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare offers and feasibility studies for projects in collaboration with project managers and account managers.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project organization, estimate project timelines, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the architectural design and development of software systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams.
  • Develop and support the deployment of training programs through individual coaching and training of colleagues.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in embedded systems, applying this knowledge to drive innovation within projects and related teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • More than 10 years of experience with technical software development in various roles and environments.
  • Experience as a software architect and a desire to expand this experience in a different environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Java.
  • Experience in high-tech domains such as semicon, analytical, and medical.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex software issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with fast-changing priorities, parallel projects, and various stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to technical and non-technical partners.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
