Introduction

ASML is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to play a key role in the development of our cutting-edge software solutions. As a member of our Software Integration and Release group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software that enables our tooling to be efficient and complete.

In this role, you will work closely with our development team, product owner, and other architects to create clear specifications, make efficient design choices, and ensure the successful integration of our tools. You will also be responsible for providing effort estimate roll-ups and identifying dependencies on others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure successful integration of tools
  • Provide effort estimate roll-ups and identify dependencies on others
  • Collaborate with product owner and other architects to create clear specifications
  • Make efficient design choices to ensure the success of our software solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience as a lead designer or architect
  • Relevant experience in architecture and development of complex software systems
  • Experience with Python language
  • Experience with change and project management
  • Experience working in SAFe or Agile team environment and applying lean practices
Skills

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and has a deep technical experience. You should be able to communicate effectively with other departments and understand how complex systems work. You should also be analytical, product and quality-oriented, and have a keen eye for detail.

We value a highly complex and procedural environment and believe that proper design and code documentation is mandatory. You should be able to keep your work with a high level of structure and clarity.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
