Job Title: Works Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Works Manager to join our team at DEME Group. As a Works Manager, you will be responsible for the operational execution of works on site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize the planning of works and ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Work closely with site superintendents and project engineers to ensure that all aspects of the project are managed and executed correctly.
  • Manage QHSE-S standards and ensure that all works are carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Coordinate the operational staff and ensure that all works are completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity on site.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the dredging or marine engineering industry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
