Fountainhead International B.V. is a leading provider of event planning and exhibition services, based in Amsterdam. We offer customized plans to meet the specific needs of every company, with a global presence across Europe, the USA, and other parts of the world.

The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, providing project details, and obtaining prices/quotes. You will also maintain a calendar of exhibitions, arrange vendor schedules, and negotiate prices. Additionally, you will prepare vendor contracts, coordinate with the accounts team, and visit suppliers in Poland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement, sourcing, and contracting of materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Handle day-to-day activities of the Procurement department.
  • Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
  • Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Schedule supplier visits and conduct competitor surveys.
  • Support relevant departments with quotations for cost calculation and projects.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Ideal Profile

  • The Purchasing Coordinator must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
  • The ideal candidate must be a team player with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain records keeping and apply systems effectively.
