About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist - Equipment Technician to join our team at GEODIS Benelux. This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of production test stations, equipment, and robotics in our state-of-the-art fulfillment center.

As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting regular preventive maintenance on production systems, Cobots, and automated equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance on production equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair technical issues with fulfillment center equipment, including Cobots, conveyor systems, tooling, and jigs.
  • Equipment Installation and Configuration: Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment and software updates.
  • Spare Parts Management: Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure critical components are always available to reduce downtime.
  • Maintenance Records: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance metrics.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements

To be successful as a Maintenance Specialist, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of computer systems and robotics equipment.
  • An associate degree or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Robotics certifications) are a plus.
