About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join our team at GEODIS Benelux. This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in computer systems, robotics, and automated equipment maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of production test stations/equipment including robotics equipment and mechanical fixtures within our state-of-the-art fulfillment center. This role ensures that all equipment is operating efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on production systems, Cobots, and automated equipment.
  • Assist in diagnosis and resolution of technical issues with fulfillment center equipment, including Cobots, conveyor systems, tooling and jigs.
  • Perform timely repairs on malfunctioning equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment and software updates.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure critical components are always available to reduce downtime.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance metrics.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Work closely with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities and minimize impact on fulfillment operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Perform soldering and other electronic repairs on circuit boards and electronic components.
  • Utilize various tools and testing equipment to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and production staff to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of computer systems and robotics equipment, preferably in a fulfillment or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in working with remote teams to resolve production equipment related issues.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automated equipment hardware and software issues.
  • Knowledge of robotics systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

What We Offer:

As a Maintenance Equipment Specialist at GEODIS Benelux, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately €45,000 - €60,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.
