About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Accounting Manager to join our team at ARLANXEO. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing accounting and financial closing activities, acting as the interface between the company and our accounting shared services center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage accounting and financial closing activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial analysis and reporting tools to support business decision-making.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to management and other business functions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with the Group Internal Control Framework, identifying and mitigating risks to the organization.
  • Collaborate with the group function Tax to ensure tax compliance for direct and indirect tax reporting.
  • Monitor and forecast liquidity, ensuring the company's financial stability and sustainability.
  • Coordinate internal or external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audit requirements.
  • Participate in projects to improve accounting and reporting processes and tools, driving efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years professional experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing business.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Experience with SAP (S4 Hana and SAP BPC) is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to operate in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary global business environment.
  • Experience with Dutch tax legislation is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of reporting and accounting principles (IFRS).
  • Strong analytical, numeric, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and communicative personality.
