The Role

The Technical Specialist Electrical and Automation will be involved in the entire process, focusing on pre-contract & concept design. This includes activities related to concept design works or validation, as well as standardization of systems & components. The role requires designing, configuring, and assessing systems and components, with a focus on multi-disciplinary teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and create technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and methodology choices during the commercial phase.
  • Participate in design reviews to monitor quality and identify potential risks in the engineering process.
  • Guide engineers in all phases and identify opportunities to standardize systems, materials, and components.
  • Collate and process product feedback and initiate improvements.
Requirements
  • A higher vocational or academic level of thinking in Electrical and Automation or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, with recent experience in AutoCAD, PDM, and ERP systems.
  • Experience in (Model-Based) systems engineering is a plus.
  • A pragmatic approach, decisiveness, and flexibility.
  • A good command of the English language and a result-oriented attitude.
