Salary and Benefits

Job Description

This role will be a key member of our EMEAI Field Service Team, responsible for providing state-of-the-art onsite services and technical support to customers. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will work closely with clients to ensure seamless integration and maintenance of our industrial scanning systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and commission Datalogic equipment at customer sites according to pre-defined specifications.
  • Maintain, adjust, and replace onsite Datalogic devices within existing customer systems.
  • Follow safety and security procedures strictly while working on-site.
  • Escalate complex technical issues that cannot be resolved independently.
  • Prepare timely and accurate service reports, including expenses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by adopting an exemplary attitude.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as electronics, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Native Dutch language skills and fluent English.
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in field service activities in automation or similar markets.
  • Experience with electrical schematics reading and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Good understanding of computer networks and PLC communications (Device-net, Profinet, Profibus).
  • Experience working with auto ID products and proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (MS Dynamics is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to travel extensively, up to 85% of time, mainly within the EU.
