Description
Vanderlande is heavily investing in internal control disciplines, focusing on compliance and improvement of customer solutions. Cyber security is a key area of focus, with a strong emphasis on the Vanderlande Information Risk Management Framework (IRM Framework). The successful candidate will be responsible for embedding and implementing this framework, driving and monitoring the process of domain risk analyses, process walkthroughs, and risk assessments.
The IRM Framework is based on ISO27k and has been established, providing a structure for control objectives to mitigate main cyber risks. Using a phased and risk-based approach, the candidate will address main priorities and implement control objectives in the business/first line. This approach is heavily linked to the Enterprise Risk Management initiative, aiming to implement a harmonized approach to identifying and managing risks within the organization.
The successful candidate will be part of the Corporate Strategy and Transformation team, reporting to the Program Manager of the Cyber Program. Key responsibilities include supporting the Governance & Frameworks stream, performing process walkthroughs and operational risk assessments, assessing key cyber risks, and identifying and defining mitigating key controls.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, the candidate should have a strong track record in Information Risk Management and Process Controls, experience with ERM methodologies and Risk Frameworks, and the ability to understand IRM frameworks and translate them into concrete controls.
The ideal candidate will be self-starting, pragmatic, and able to work independently, as well as being a team player and able to work effectively at all levels in an organization. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as well as the ability to convince decision makers to act accordingly.
An excellent command of the English language is required, with Dutch or other languages being advantageous. A university degree in Information Technology, IT Audit, or Control is preferred.
As a member of the Corporate Strategy and Transformation team, the successful candidate will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, driving the implementation of the IRM Framework and contributing to the success of Vanderlande's Cyber Program.
