Your Role
As a Software Designer at Sioux, you will play a pivotal role in defining requirements and will be accountable for crafting and disseminating software designs, overseeing implementation, integration, and ensuring software quality. You aspire to evolve into a position where you can provide technical leadership to the software development team while also contributing to design, realization, and integration efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit innovative thinking during the conceptual stages of projects, transforming requirements into clear and inventive designs.
- Serve as a liaison between architects and engineers from a technical standpoint.
- Take ownership of a module or sub-system throughout the entire software lifecycle.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively guide and mentor a team of senior engineers.
What We Seek
You are passionate about software development for advanced systems and enjoy collaborating within a team to maximize collective output.
- You possess a background in system control software development, with a higher professional or university education level, and have a minimum of five years of experience in the semiconductor or medical sectors.
- You have a proven track record in developing software that incorporates data-driven and/or system dynamics and control solutions.
- You are capable of leading a technical team of three to seven individuals.
- You have extensive experience in software development using C++ and C# across various operating systems, including expertise in state machine and real-time aspects.
- You are well-versed in diverse development methodologies and technologies (OOAD, Agile, TDD, MDSD, etc.).
