The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Services Representative to join our team at Snaphunt. As an Emergency Services Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to individuals in critical emergency situations.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective support to individuals in emergency situations
- Assess situations and share information with precision
- Display great attention to detail while handling multiple communication tools simultaneously
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Native/C1 level in Dutch/Flemish, both oral and written, and fluent in English (at least B2+ level) for effective communication
- Emergency Services/Dispatcher qualification/experience from 6 months onwards
- Proven experience in emergency response and/or working in high-pressure emergency communication environments
- Experience in emergency dispatcher, healthcare, military, firefighter, police, flight dispatcher, or security roles
- Active experience in handling emergency situations with customers, especially by phone
- Strong assessing skills and ability to share information with precision
- Ability to work with a CAD application and MS Office
- Knowledge of laws, protocols, and compliance within an emergency services environment
- Agility with rotating scheduling, including days, nights, and weekends
- CPR certification and experience in emergency, fire, or police dispatch
- Ability to work from home 10% of the time
