Insurance Director

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to lead and guide Inter IKEA Group on its global insurance program. As Insurance Director, you will be responsible for securing an adequate and optimal cost-effective global insurance program based on the risk profile and risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global insurance program that meets the company's risk profile and risk appetite.
• Lead the insurance network/matrix of relevant stakeholders.
• Advising, instructing, and training on insurance matters and claims handling for relevant stakeholders within Inter IKEA Group.
• Monitor the global insurance program contract performance in cooperation with the core business responsible.
• Manage insurance data to analyze and facilitate the decision of the Insurance Forum and Finance Committee with regard to the decision to transfer the risks.
• Act as the secretary of the Inter IKEA Group Insurance Forum.
• Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in the field of risk transfer solutions and global insurance markets.
• Analyze the International Insurance Associates (IIA) benchmark of insurance programs.
• Coordinate and monitor any ad-hoc requests for insurance assistance and review insurance requirements in agreements/contracts to support the business.

About You

• Advanced knowledge of Word and PowerPoint, which helps you to clearly present your findings in a simple and easy-to-understand way.

Additional Information

This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Delft, the Netherlands. This role sits in the Business Performance & Support Organisation (CFO organisation) of Inter IKEA Group and reports to the Risk & Compliance Manager of Inter IKEA Group.
