About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Model Driven Development Expert to join our team at Independent Recruiters. As a key member of our model driven engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of software development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer DSL projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Communicate with subject matter experts to distill domain-specific languages, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Implement DSLs, either independently or as lead of the language engineering team, leveraging expertise in tools such as Jetbrains MPS, Xtext, Langium, MetaEdit+, Spoofax, Rascal, and Monticore.
  • Educate stakeholders and enable technical environments, promoting a culture of model driven engineering.
  • Promote DSLs to (higher) management, highlighting their value in multiplying productivity and focus in R&D.
  • Share knowledge and support team members within our model driven team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent in experience.
  • Proven experience in language engineering tools, including Jetbrains MPS, Xtext, Langium, MetaEdit+, Spoofax, Rascal, and Monticore.
  • Consulting experience in MDE-projects, with a deep understanding of abstract language concepts.
  • Open-mindedness to new language engineering approaches and a keen interest in staying up-to-date on technological advancements.

  • Gross salary starting at €5500 per month.
