Job Summary

This Field Engineer role at Expro's Den Helder team involves working within a team to assist under supervision with the running of equipment on or offshore, ensuring successful safe operations in accordance with Company procedures and thereby delivering quality service to clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out operations with team members to ensure safe completion of operational tasks, preventing technical issues in line with the Operating manual.
  • Conduct checks on all equipment for their compliance with Expro's policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they are technically correct for the operation being carried out.
  • Participate in tool box talks and planning meetings when required.
  • Maintain and prepare equipment at onshore bases as needed.
  • Liaise with client representatives professionally to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Liaise with offshore Supervisor, team members, and operations department as necessary to discuss all aspects of operations with relevant parties, ensuring effective communication for safe operations and task completion.
  • Ensure completion of required documentation for Company procedures, processes, and specific client requirements.
  • Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete required competencies for current and next roles.
  • Share knowledge with subordinates to assist with their competency progression when required.
  • Adhere to Expro's Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures, and processes to maintain highest ethical standards, minimizing exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
  • Comply with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes, and systems; participate in quality improvement processes; identify and report any deficiencies to Supervisor and obtain authorization for any deviations from standard procedures.
  • Comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and processes; promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others; demonstrate personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance, always following the 10 Safety House Rules.
  • Meet objectives set under Employee Development Plan.

Requirements

  • Techincal knowledge gained through completion of competency for grade.
  • Formal technical qualification.
  • 3+ years related technical experience within an offshore environment.

Estimated Salary

$90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
