About the Role
The Site Manager will oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations. This includes coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, meeting contractual conditions of performance, and planning to prevent problems and resolve emerging challenges.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Review and analyze project progress to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent problems and resolve emerging challenges
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Review and analyze project costs to ensure they are within budget
Requirements
- Formal qualification in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Proven working experience in the construction industry
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Knowledge of process safety standards and local legislation
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
