About the Role
We are seeking a skilled System and Application Specialist to join our Central Control Center team. As a key member of our Level 1 technical team, you will be responsible for managing our global and critical financial networks and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage applications and servers to detect and respond to incidents
- Collaborate with other Level 1 departments and work with Level 2 experts and development teams to identify and correct problems
- Implement changes on applications to enhance products or mitigate issues
- Stay up-to-date on product updates and be ready to support changed applications
- Take initiatives to improve monitoring capabilities through automation
Requirements
- Eager to learn with a keen interest in IT, pro-active, enthusiastic, analytical, communicative, take initiative, investigative mindset, and team player
- Experience with monitoring and managing applications
- Knowledge of Linux (e.g. RHEL) or Unix
- Experience with tools such as Elastic/Kibana and/or scripting is a preference
- Good communication skills in verbal and written English
- Willingness to work on weekends (30%), which is compensated with a shift allowance
