Associate Director, Clinical Trial Associate Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our Clinical Trial Associate Team as a Clinical Trial Associate Team Manager (CTA TM). This is a key leadership role within our Trial Strategy and Delivery department, responsible for managing a team of Clinical Trial Associates (CTAs) and supporting the delivery of clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Clinical Trial Associates, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful delivery of clinical trials.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to support ongoing and upcoming clinical trials, ensuring that the team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality results.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and training programs to equip CTAs with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the CTA team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to maintain consistency and uphold high standards across all CTAs.
- Process Improvement: Lead or actively contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the team.
- Audit and Inspection Preparation: Prepare and support CTAs for audits and inspections, ensuring that clinical trial documentation is inspection-ready.
- Culture Development: Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting a sense of belonging and commitment among CTAs.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a life science or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical, CRO, or healthcare industry, with at least 2 years of management experience in industry settings.
- Skills: Experience managing teams in a supervisory/leadership capacity, with a strong understanding of clinical trial administrative and support activities, including experience with Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF).
- Leadership Competencies: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to set direction, inspire, and motivate the CTA team.
